Free WebGPU Image Editor

KOLORE.app is a free, browser-based image editor that processes your photos locally with WebGPU — including HDR photos from your phone — so nothing is uploaded to a server. It works on mobile, needs no account, and any AI features run on your own device. Apply tonemapping, hue shift, blur, and palette reduction, then download the result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is KOLORE.app free?
Yes. KOLORE.app is free to use and runs entirely in your web browser. No login, account, or payment is required.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. The editor is built mobile-first and works with touch on modern mobile browsers that support WebGPU.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally on your device using WebGPU. Your images are never uploaded to a server.
What is WebGPU, and do I need it?
WebGPU is a browser API that runs image processing on your graphics hardware. KOLORE.app requires a WebGPU-capable browser such as Chrome 113+ or Edge 113+.
Does it support HDR and wide-gamut color?
Yes. KOLORE.app opens HDR photos from phones — JPEG and HEIC/HEIF images with gainmaps (Android Ultra HDR and Apple HDR) — processes them in linear light, and can tonemap HDR to SDR with exposure control.
Which image formats are supported?
KOLORE.app opens PNG, JPEG, WebP, and GIF, plus HDR phone photos (JPEG and HEIC/HEIF with gainmaps). Radiance .hdr and OpenEXR files are not currently supported.
Does it use AI, and is my data used for training?
Some features use AI that runs entirely on your device (in your browser), not through an external cloud API. We use a mix of production-grade slim models and proprietary models built for a small footprint and edge execution. No images or data are uploaded, and nothing is used to train models.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, image processing runs locally and does not depend on a network connection.
